Many say they love the Most High with their lips, but their actions tell a different story. Love is more than a feeling or a word—it is proven by obedience. Yahusha Himself said in John 14:15, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
Yet today, many claim His name while disregarding His instructions. We replace His set-apart ways with man-made traditions. We dismiss His Sabbath for convenience, ignore His appointed times for worldly holidays, and justify sin by saying, “He knows my heart.” Yes, He does know our hearts—and He knows when our love is genuine or when it’s just talk.
True love for Yahuah is not about religious appearances or emotional worship alone—it is about submitting our will to His. It’s about honoring Him in the way He commanded, not the way we prefer. This is the love that is active, disciplined, and sacrificial.
The world teaches us that love is about feelings, but Scripture teaches that love is about covenant. Covenant love requires loyalty, commitment, and obedience. Just as a faithful spouse proves love through action, we must prove our love to our Creator by living according to His Word.
Let us examine ourselves. Are we loving Him on His terms or on our own? Are we aligning our lives with His commandments, or are we expecting Him to adjust to our lifestyles?
Beloved Brothers and Sisters, love is not merely a declaration—it is a demonstration. When we keep His commandments, we show the world that our relationship with Him is not just a claim, but a covenant sealed in truth.
1 John 5:3 says, “For this is the love of Elohim, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.” If they feel heavy, it’s not because His yoke is hard—it’s because our flesh resists surrender. But to those who love Him, His commands are life, joy, and protection.
Let us not be hearers only, but doers. Let our love be more than words—let it be obedience in action.
